New Year’s Eve Celebration Details
New Year's Eve package is for two adults only. Must be 21 or over - no children allowed in guest rooms or in ballroom. Formal attire is reccomended. Seating in grand ballroom will be assigned in tables of ten. Any requests for seating assignements should be made by calling (717-337-2000) or emailing (Frontdesk@hotelgettysburg.com) the front desk. Package includes taxes and gratuities. Full payment due at booking. Cancellation must be prior to 12/26/15 for refund and contact hotel by phone to confirm.
Wine and Dine
Treat yourself to a lovely evening filled with good food, historic wine, and great atmosphere!
Upon your arrival to the Historic Gettysburg Hotel, you will be presented with two souvenir wine glasses and a bottle of Adams County Winery’s finest historic vintage. Enjoy your scenic 20-minute drive along the historic Lincoln Highway as you drive to Adams County Winery in Ortanna, Pennsylvania.
At the winery, you will be treated to the “Taste of History” tour, which includes a full tour of the winery and wine cellar, a private tasting of up to six wines complete with cheese plate, and a 15% discount off any wines purchased that day. Upon returning to the hotel, indulge yourself with dinner at the Historic Gettysburg Hotel’s own restaurant, One Lincoln, before retiring to your Suite of Executive level accommodations. Enjoy your morning meal in One Lincoln once again before returning home from your two day, one night Wine and Dine escape!
Memories of Lincoln
Join a Licensed Town Historian to follow the footsteps of President Abraham Lincoln during his November 1863 visit and stand in the room where Lincoln crafted the resounding Gettysburg Address at the David Wills House Museum.
After your presidential agenda, retreat to our luxurious accommodations and enjoy dinner for two in One Lincoln as well as a plentiful breakfast the following morning.
Debrief with a richly illustrated coffee table book on the life and impact of this famous president while you enhance your memories with a commemorative Lincoln keepsake from the Gettysburg Heritage Center.
- This package will require a 48 hour advance booking notice.
- The Tour times available are 9:30 am or 3:00 pm.
- The package is not available on Tuesdays in the months of September, October and April. Package is only available Saturday and Sunday (November – February). Package is not available on Tuesday & Wednesday in the month of March. The months of May – August, the package will be available every day.

A Ghostly Encounter
Do you believe in ghosts? Spend an enchanted evening in our traditional spirited accommodations brimming with mystique and enjoy a unique Gettysburg ghost tour!
Our Ghostly Encounter Experience features a Gettysburg Ghost Tour that winds its way through Gettysburg's most haunted sites. Tours are conducted by Gettysburg's most renowned ghost hunters.
Participants receive a signed copy of “Ghosts of Gettysburg” by the Dean of Gettysburg's Ghost Historians, Mr. Mark Nesbitt.
Dinner and breakfast for two at One Lincoln is also included in this package.
Ghost tours are conducted outdoors in all weather. The tours last about an hour, and are approximately a mile of walking on both paved and unpaved surfaces at dusk or in the dark; so please dress and plan accordingly. A voucher will be provided upon check in allowing guests to reserve the tour during their stay.
In the morning, compare notes about your haunted adventure over a full breakfast at One Lincoln before departing.
