Pages of the Past Bookstore
Published September 27, 2010
Downtown Gettysburg welcomes a new store – Pages of the Past! Pages of the Past is an independent history bookstore located on York Street. They offer an extensive selection of fiction and non-fiction titles. Last week, the store celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Many people, including the mayor of Gettysburg, was present and welcomed this new gem into town!
Owners Lucas and Julie Cade are friendly and extremely welcoming. They will help you find the exact book you are looking for. The store is very comfortable – a great place to relax! They offer free WI-FI and be sure to grab a cup of Green Mountain Coffee as you browse.
A really neat aspect about the store is their “Children’s Vault.” The space was previously used by Adams County National Bank and the vault remains. The kids can enjoy spending time in there while their parents shop.
In addition to books, they carry a variety of handmade cards & gifts.
Be sure to make Pages of the Past a stop while in Gettysburg!
