Fun at Foxxy Moxxy Boutique

Published October 21, 2010

Next time you’re in Gettysburg, be sure to swing into Foxxy Moxxy, a fun boutique that opened this past June! Located right on the square next to the Gettysburg Hotel, it is packed full of unique gifts and lovely items. Everywhere you turn you’ll find something new and interesting to look at! The shop carries products from numerous artists and designers, including  soaps, purses, jewelry, cards, signs, journals, antiques, paintings, small pieces of furniture, framed art, mirrors, pillows… I could go on. If you are stuck on gift giving, Foxxy Moxxy will have something one-of-a-kind. After all, the holidays will be here before we know it!

This boutique is anything but stuffy. The ladies in the shop are so much fun to be around, which is perfectly fitting since the word “moxie” means the ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage, in other words – spunk!

Such a cute boutique!

I fell in love with this gorgeous handmade journal by co-owner, Carol.

Fine soaps packaged so beautifully!

The pendants on these necklaces were especially eye-catching

Cute hand painted table

This apron makes me want to bake something!

Co-owner and Watercolorist, Bobbi Becker, poses with one of her beautiful holiday paintings of the Gettysburg Square.

Marty Mummert creates these cool, vintage-looking signs. He hand-letters each one of them.
