Remembrance Day Ball and Parade

Today is a special day as it marks the 147th anniversary of Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg Address. Just steps away from the Gettysburg Hotel, President Lincoln prepared his immortal address in the David Wills House. In honor of this occasion, there are many ceremonies and special events happening this weekend. For a listing of everything going on visit here.
One very popular event is happening tonight at the Gettysburg Hotel at 8pm- the Remembrance Day Ball. (Sponsored by the CivilWarLady.com).
This fun event gives guests a chance to start off an enjoyable weekend with music, fun and the fellowship of History!

Tomorrow, (Saturday, November 20th), the Remembrance Day Parade will be held at 1:00. This annual event, sponsored by the Union Veterans of the Civil War, will feature a parade of thousands of Civil War living history groups.
The parade will form at 12:00 pm on Lefever Street and move at 1:00 pm sharp. The route of the parade will exit Lefever Street onto East Confederate Avenue and turn west onto East Middle Street. Upon striking Baltimore Street, the parade will turn south and then veer south west onto Steinwehr Avenue where it will conclude at the National Park.
