Thanksgiving in Gettysburg

Happy November, everyone! It’s hard to believe it, but Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and the holiday season will be upon us! I have loads in store to share with you about exciting things going on in Gettysburg for the holidays, but before I get ahead of myself  I want to talk about a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner at the Gettysburg Hotel. Executive Chef Shelley Funt (as she always does) will be preparing a fantastic Thanksgiving menu that will be served in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom on Thursday, November 25th from 11:am -3:00pm.

The Menu:

Thanksgiving Buffet
Petite Salad Bar with garden greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese and dressings.
Marinated Vegetable Salad and Harvest Pasta Salad
Fresh Baked Muffins and Assorted Rolls
Fall Squash Soup with Fresh Ginger
Tomato Chevre Soup

Carved Roast Tom Turkey with Apple Sage Stuffing
Maple Glazed Baked Ham
Fresh Salmon with Whole Grain Mustard Sauce
Cheese Tortellini with Articoke and Red Pepper Pesto
Roasted Vegetable Polenta
Red Skin Mashed Potatoes and Giblet Gravy
Cranberry Relish
Candied Yams, Rice Pilaf and a Medley of Fresh Vegetables.
Display of Desserts.

Children’s Thanksgiving Buffet
The children is lowered so that they can help themselves!
Complete with Mini Franks, French Fries, Chicken Fingers, Macaroni & Cheese and Apple Sauce.

Children 10-12:  $10.95

Children 5 and under:  Free
