What a weekend it was in Gettysburg this past weekend, December 3-5! If you were here we hope you had a wonderful time. If you missed it, here are some things you missed. Not to worry, there are so many more fun activities going on throughout the entire holiday season and we will keep you informed.

Santa was in town for First Friday in Santa's Shanty! Click on the photo for more dates and times to see Santa.

Gettysburg College Student volunteers were spreading Christmas cheer on the Square and encouraging folks to donate to the United Way this holiday season.

1320 WGET played Christmas music on the Square. It was such a nice, festive atmosphere.

The Gettysburg Festival’s Gingerbread Celebration was a huge success! We were absolutely blown away by the craftsmanship and artistry of the gingerbread houses. Saturday’s event was free to attend and many children got the opportunity to create their own gingerbread house. The Evening Sun wrote a fantastic article about the event.

The second place winner! This house was purchased by Dr. Brad Hoch placed and he plans to display it at the Gettysburg Pediatrics office!
