Fill your Easter Baskets at Mister Ed’s
Published April 14, 2011
Since Easter is right around the corner, its time to think about all the wonderful Easter basket ideas for your friends and family. There are many great gift and candy shops in and near Gettysburg to help you fulfill all your Easter candy needs.
One such place is Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and Candy Room. This renown store is home to one of the largest and most unique collections of elephants in the world! Mister Ed received his first elephant as a gift on his wedding day and ever since has had a love and passion for collecting them.
Mister Ed’s suffered a very destructive fire in July 5, 2010, destroying a large fraction of his over 10,000 collected elephants. The new store and museum has been under construction for the last year, but it is now open and ready for people to come and enjoy this beloved tradition!
Mister Ed’s also boasts its one-of-a-kind Candy Room. Customers will find a vast array of goodies including all the old time favorites and fresh roasted peanuts.
