Welcoming Fall in Gettysburg
Published August 31, 2011
With Labor Day Weekend coming in just a few days, we have completely switched gears to welcoming fall with open arms! It is always a little bit bittersweet to see the summer fade away, but fall in Gettysburg is just too much fun to be sad for long. I cannot wait to talk about all the exciting festivals, events and more going on this fall in Gettysburg. Not to mention, harvest season for our wineries is underway as well as Adams County apples. How exciting! It certainly feels like fall when Gettysburg College students move in and we are celebrating this with a Back-To-School First Friday on September 2nd. Look for a post coming up about that as well.
If you’re not already in the mood for fall, perhaps these photos will help you along. Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year to be in Gettysburg.
