What’s Going On This Weekend -August 12th-14th

It's a beautiful weekend to be in Gettysburg! This is a photo of the Train Station with the Lutheran Theological Seminary in the background.

This weekend is Gettysburg is filled with fun concerts, festivals and more!  If you’re coming into town this weekend here are our recommendations for fun things to check out:

Saturday, August 13th- Battlefield Rock Festival.
This music festival, held at Battlefield Harley-Davidson (21 Cavarlry Field Road) will feature four bands. Not only is this a fun time, but it benefits families suffering with cancer. Check out this worthwhile event for such a great cause.

Saturday, August 13th- Sunday August 14th: Pages of the Past Anniversary Celebration
Pages of the Past Bookstore is celebrating their One Year Anniversary! Stop by the store for refreshments, door prizes and more! Photograph Artist, Jeff Ridinger, will exhibit his photographic works on Saturday, August 13th from 2-4 p.m. Happy Anniversary to Pages of the Past!

Sunday, August 14th – Hollabaugh Bros. Inc. Annual Peach Festival
I just wrote a blog post about this Festival! Check it out here.  Adams County peaches are like no other! Celebrate peach season at Hollabaugh Bros. Farm Market and be sure to get a peach sundae. This event is free to attend! Click here for maps and driving directions.

Sunday, August 14th- Fall Vegetable Garden Nature Program at Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve 
Spend an hour and a half with Master Gardener Mary Ann Ryan who will show that the growing season doesn’t end with summer. Tips provided on which veggies to plant and when so you can keep your garden blooming through the fall. Members $5, Non-members $8.
