A Day for Divas in Gettysburg

Published September 28, 2011

Ladies, do you ever get stuck in a rut when it comes to planning things to do with your girlfriends? Everyone keeps asking “What do you want to do?” with the response “I don’t care. What do YOU want to do?” This can go on and on! A number of downtown Gettysburg businesses have put an end to these decisions by making a fun-filled day with your girlfriends EASY to plan!

So what is it?
A Day for Divas is an all-inclusive day of shopping, wining & dining and being pampered and is brought to you by Pages of the Past Bookstore. Pages of the Past has partnered with 6 Downtown Gettysburg merchants to bring you this unique experience!

The Day begins at The Ragged Edge coffee shop where you enjoy your chosen beverage in one of their gallery rooms or the beautiful outdoor garden. Following your coffee you are escorted to True Friends Boutique where you make a pair or two of earrings and have time to shop the boutique. Then you visit Pages of the Past where a book expert provides an intellectual teaser of 5 books in 5 minutes while you enjoy a glass of authentic southern sweet tea. All this is followed by a neck/shoulder massage courtesy of Breaktime Massage. Lunch is enjoyed at McClellan’s Tavern in the ambiance of a traditional English-style pub. After lunch you will have some free time to browse on your own. The afternoon continues with a visit to the Spirited Ladies Shoppe where you will enjoy a hand massage using Crabtree & Evelyn products and also create a special Diva Day keepsake. Your Diva Day experience concludes with a private wine tasting of 6 specially selected wines from Adams County Winery, a delectable cheese sample and your own souvenir glass.

Minimum number of participants is 4 – Groups of 4-6 are suggested. Larger groups can be accommodated under special arrangements. Participants receive a specially designed Diva Day bag filled with goodies!

This day including lunch is only $35 per person!!
