The Return of A Day for Divas!
Published February 3, 2012
Looking for a fun day of shopping and pampering with a group of your closest girlfriends? Do you have a hard time planning a day when no one can make a decision? A number of downtown Gettysburg businesses have partnered to take the hassle out of planning a girl’s day with the return of A Day for Divas.
A Day for Divas is an all-inclusive day of shopping, wining & dining and being pampered and is brought to you by Pages of the Past Bookstore. Pages of the Past has partnered with 6 Downtown Gettysburg merchants to bring you this unique and memorable experience.
The Day begins at Johnny Como’s with coffee and cupcakes. After enjoying your morning beverage, you’ll be escorted to True Friends Boutique where you and your girlfriends will handcraft a pair or two of beaded earrings while still having some time to browse the shop and sample a selection of Thymes lotions and creams. A stop at Pages of the Past will satisfy your inner bookworm as a book expert provides an intellectual teaser of 5 books in 5 minutes while you enjoy a glass of authentic Southern sweet tea, followed by a neck & shoulder massage courtesy of Breaktime Massage. You’ll enjoy lunch at McClellan’s Tavern, a English-style pub right on Lincoln Square. After lunch you will have some free time to browse on your own. The afternoon continues with a visit to the Spirited Ladies Shoppe where you will enjoy a hand massage using Crabtree & Evelyn products and also create a special Diva Day keepsake. Your Diva Day experience concludes with a private wine tasting of 6 specially selected wines from Adams County Winery, a delectable cheese sample and your own souvenir glass.
Minimum number of participants is 4 – Groups of 4-6 are suggested. Larger groups can be accommodated under special arrangements. Participants receive a specially designed Diva Day bag filled with goodies!
All-inclusive cost is $50.
