Gettysburg Wine and Music Festival

Published August 21, 2012

The end of summer is always bittersweet as the dog days of summer soon yield to cooler nights and that unmistakeable snap of fall in the air. But for Adams County and other regional wineries, it means that the annual grape harvest will soon be upon us.  Come celebrate the start of the grape harvest at the 8th annual Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival presented by the Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce on September 8 and 9. This marks the first time that the festival will span two days to allow you to sample wines from over twenty Pennsylvania wineries (including well-known locals Hauser Estate and Allegro Wines) and enjoy some of the area’s great live music scene.

What a better way to spend a weekend in early September than two days spent sipping local wines, browsing the work of local artisans and listening to local musicians doing what they do best – entertain a crowd.
