As the August weekends are winding down, take this opportunity to visit Gettysburg before the summer is over. There are many fun things to do in Gettysburg this weekend, August 17th-19th. The weather forecast is calling for an absolutely gorgeous partly sunny weekend with temperatures in the late 70’s.

 The 65the Semi-Annual Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival (August 16-19th):
Today, August 16th, marks the beginning of the 65th Semi-Annual Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival held at Granite Hill Camping Resort in Gettysburg.  Just a few of the artists playing at this 4-day festival include Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press, Mountain Heart, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Sierra Hull & Highway 111, Mike Cleveland & Flamekeeper, JD Crowe & the New South, The Seldom Scene, The Hillbenders, and many more! Gettysburg Farmers Market on Lincoln Square (Saturday, August 18th):
Visit the Gettysburg Farmers Market on Lincoln Square from 7am-noon and enjoy the summer season’s rich bounty of delicious Adams County produce. In addition to fresh fruits and veggies, the Farmers Market vendors will have local honey, jams, baked goods, coffee, spices, local meat and flowers. Yoga on the Hill at Hauser Estate Winery (Sunday, August 19th):
Visit Hauser Estate Winery on Sunday from 10:30am-11:45am for a session of Yoga on the Hill!  This event, held rain or shine, is great for exercise and relaxation.  Please bring your own mat and $10 for the session.
