First Friday Gettysburg Style - Strawberry FestivalLocal strawberries have already started showing up at the farmer’s markets here in Gettysburg, so what better way to celebrate these sweet and juicy berries than with a Strawberry Festival-themed First Friday?

The 2013 downtown Gettysburg Strawberry Festival will be held tomorrow, June 7th, as part of First Friday Gettysburg Style. You’ll be able to sample strawberry-inspired treats at participating GARMA members.

Here’s just a taste of what some of the Gettysburg shops and retailers participating in this sweet Strawberry Festival Event will have on offer during First Friday:

Enjoy First Friday Dessert and Cocktail Specials.

Stop in and enjoy a strawberry snack and meet friends, old and new. Any store purchase will automatically enter you in a drawing for a gorgeous Spartina 449 summer handbag.

Lark Gifts will be serving a wonderfully refreshing Strawberry Mojito and artist Susan Rumford will demonstrating the ancient Japanese art technique of temari.
