Peaches. York and Adams Counties produce some excellent peaches — sweet, juicy and oh so delicious.
An entire First Friday celebration focused on the fuzzy fruit? Sounds like a perfect way to spend an August evening. You’ll get the chance to sample peach-inspired treats at participating GARMA members.

From 4 – 8pm, corporate executive-turned-medium Laine Crosby will be in the boutique premiering her new book “Investigative Medium: The Awakening”. It tells the story of Janette, the spirit of 18th century slave girl befriended by Laine.

Unwind at Lark with peach bellinis and play “Pick A Peach” to save between 10 and 30% on your First Friday purchase.

Reid’s Orchard and Winery – 242 Baltimore Street
Peach Sangrias at Jennie’s House in the Garden from 5 – 9pm. Buy one glass of freshly made sangria and you’ll get the second for half price.
Adams County Winery – 25 Chambersburg Street
Wine slushies made with Tears of Gettysburg and Rebel Red wines – $6, and you keep the glass! Local artists Robyn Warren and David Blades will be jointly exhibiting their work.
Bluebrick Gallery – 18 N Washington Street
As the dog days of summer come around, the artists at Bluebrick will be displaying some dog-themed art. Lights refreshments served from 5 – 8pm. Bring a photo of your dog and commission a piece from the co-op’s pool of artists.
