Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival This Weekend at Granite Hill Camping Resort
Published August 15, 2013
One of my favorite summertime pastimes (ok, I have lots of favorites) is seeing as much live music as I can cram in, especially if it’s bluegrass.
Twice a year, Granite Hill Camping Resort hosts the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival — and they’ve been doing it since 1979. It’s truly one of my favorite festivals of the spring and summer season.
By the time you’re reading this, the final preparations for the 67th Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival are nearly complete — and the festival itself starts in just a few hours and runs through the 18th.
The Queen of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent (and a favorite at Gettysburg) returns to the barn stage with the Martha White bus in tow. Two of my personal favorite acts, the Seldom Scene and Dry Branch Branch Fire Squad are back in Gettysburg for the festival as well.
Multi- and single-day tickets are available for purchase, ranging from $110 (advance) for the full festival to $25 for Sunday only.
