National Day of Service and Remembrance Commemoration & Tribute
Published September 10, 2013
Designated in memory and tribute to those lost in the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance is always a somber day. Our little town of Gettysburg will stand in reflection and remembrance with towns and communities across the nation.
Flags at individual homes and government buildings will be flown at half-staff and many people and organizations will participate in a variety of volunteer service projects in conjunction with the Corporation for National and Community Service.
