Published July 25, 2017

We’re in the middle of the summer season here in Gettysburg, and before you know it, it will be time for apple cider and hayrides. While there is still time left, take advantage of all that Gettysburg and the surrounding area has to offer to help squeeze in some more fun before you go back to school!

1 – Get Outside for a Hike or Ride a Bike

Gettysburg National Military Park

Gettysburg is conveniently located amongst several national parks and is, of course, home to the Gettysburg Battlefields, all of which are within driving distance of the Gettysburg Hotel. Carl Whitehill with Destination Gettysburg has compiled a list of his top 5 choices of places to get outside and stretch your legs.  Do it quick, before summer runs out!
