This weekend marks the 154th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s historic Gettysburg Address. Just steps away from the Gettysburg hotel, President Lincoln prepared his immortal address in the David Willis House. In honor of this landmark occasion, there are many ceremonies and special events happening this weekend.

November 17th & 18th
Both events are hosted in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom. Friday night dress up in your favorite pre-1865 period attire and come ready for a fun night of live entertainment and delicious food. Continue your historical journey on Saturday night with a recreation of the Prince of Wales Ball. Come dress to impress as the Prince himself is set to make an appearance.
Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremonies
November 18th
Join us in downtown Gettysburg as we honoring the soldiers and civilians of the American Civil War in this special annual parade held in conjunction with the Gettysburg Address anniversary.

Annual Remembrance Illumination
November 19th
Visit the landmark Gettysburg Battlefields and honor those who fought with a ceremony that features the lighting of a luminary candle on each of the 3,512 Civil War soldier’s graves.
